News & Events 2010 J. Leroy Cook Scholarship Program (Summary)
In memory and honor of Mr. J. Leroy Cook, Thomas R. Shelton, Chairman & CEO of Case Farms, has established a scholarship fund to award post-secondary education scholarships to eligible sons and daughters of Case Farms’ employees.
The memorial scholarship aims to recognize academic excellence and achievement in school and the community, encourage pursuit of a post-secondary education, and provide financial assistance to qualified individuals.
A. Accounting Internship Program
Case Farms is implementing an Accounting Internship Program at the Troutman location. The purpose is to offer work/learning opportunities to college students currently enrolled in Accounting study programs. The students will learn basic work skills and apply technical skills learned in the classroom. The Company hopes to develop relationships with local & regional colleges to encourage real-world development & training, while building relationships for possible long-term, permanent hires.
